The vacation programme of the Huchuy Yachaq Association which included classes in origami, logic and maths, cinema, craft, and physical activity finished on 12 February.

Carnival was celebrated with a traditional tree decorated with presents, which we danced around to music while the children and volunteers alike took turns at trying to cut it down. Afterwards the children retrieved their presents and enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate!

We then took a break to repair and paint the building and put together school bags for the children for the coming school year. These school bags were dispatched on Sunday 21st February and included many of the necessities for the school year - made possible thanks to our sponsors and donations!
